The South is home of sweet tea.  Whether a native born southerner or a snowbird, eventually everyone drinks it.  We have started taking ours half & half and sometimes with lemon aid {an Arnold Palmer as the Southern Set has coined it}.

Are you the hostess with the mostess this Oscar night? We are all abuzz with the giltz & glamour surrounding tonight's event and we'll take just about any excuse to get the girls together for a night of home made apps, champagne cocktails, and giggling around the TV rating the red carpet dresses.

Just to celebrate, we've rounded up some of our favorite ideas for creating a super Swell {yet totally simple} Oscar night of your own & some easy but elegant appetizers.  Get inspired by the beauty and glamor and grab some Swell Caroline all your own {oh, and go Bananas, totally R. Zoe worthy}!

Setting the Scene: 

• Bow Tie Cupcake Toppers: These would be simple to DIY using cardstock paper & toothpicks. Make cupcakes in the flavor of your choice, and then add this topper to give it the red carpet treatment!

We are big football fans, so the Super Bowl is always a bittersweet event.  It marks the end of the season but it's also the perfect excuse to host a stylish tailgate or football watching party.
