The South is home of sweet tea. Whether a native born southerner or a snowbird, eventually everyone drinks it. We have started taking ours half & half and sometimes with lemon aid {an Arnold Palmer as the Southern Set has coined it}.

I would have to say McAlisters - and the fact that they are all over the south makes it easy to get consistently good tea when I am on the road!
ReplyDeleteRamsey's Diner in Lexington, KY has THE BEST!
ReplyDeleteLuisa's makes my favorite pizza and sweet tea! If I can't get it there then I love Chick Fil-A's, too!
ReplyDeleteRudy's BBQ sweet tea is fabulous! But my all time favorite is from my own Grandma's back porch! Mmmm thinking about it makes me long for summer!
ReplyDeleteMcCallister's is definitely my favorite! Especially with a big slice of lemon!
ReplyDeleteWith living here at the coast in North Carolina, the best place for fresh seafood (shrimp) and sweet tea is the Capt. Table in Morehead City, NC

When I'm not drinking a mint julep at Mint in Richmond, VA (http://mintrichmond.com), I love sipping on their sweet tea! A close second is Chick-fil-a but what isn't delicious there?
ReplyDeleteFingers crossed! xoxo
The Beacon in Spartanburg, SC. It is famous for its perfect blend of lemon, sweet tea and crushed ice! They even bottle to sell in some grocery stores!

ReplyDeleteHello! I absolutely adore the sweet tea from the Earl's Rib Place! It's so sweet and delicious. Being a Chicago native, I did not discover Sweet Tea until I became friends with a girl from Georgia in college. She made sweet tea for us one night and I have been hooked every since! Earl's is the best because it's always the perfect temperature, not too cold but just right! I'm lucky enough to leave near one so I can drink it often! :)
